Gordon Light
Barbara Liotscos
Barbara Liotscos married Gordon Light in 1992. She has two children, Jessica in Toronto, and Bill (and his wife Andrea) in North Vancouver.
Barb was ordained in Vancouver in 1980, was a priest in charge of Grace Church, Prince George, and incumbent of Church of Cleopas, Kamloops.
In Toronto Barb did a post grad degree in theology, focusing on liturgy and The Admission of Children to Communion in the Anglican Church of Canada. Barb was General Synod’s Consultant for Ministry and Worship before returning to Kelowna as Archdeacon of Kootenay. When Gord was elected Bishop for APCI, Barb ministered at St Timothy’s, 100 Mile House. Before retiring in 2011 Barb was rector of St Aidan’s in the Beach, Toronto.
Barb’s passion is the recognition and return of unceded territory and self determination to indigenous peoples.
