Friday Family Food and Fun – December 15th

On Friday December 15th, a boisterous group of over 40 people – children and families and youth gathered for a delicious dinner. Dinner was followed by games for the youngsters.

Then construction began on the Cookie Houses. They were built on the frame of a small milk carton. First graham wafers were “glued” with icing to the carton and then candies were added as decorations. Of course, not all the candies ended up on the houses! Watch the slide show below to see the progression.

An area was set up for festive photos.

Many people then joined the International Christmas Song Sing-a-long in the Cathedral.
