The Altar Guild is a group of parishioners who work in pairs in a rotation to prepare the Altar, for the weekly services at both altars and for other special liturgical events. It is the Altar Guild’s responsibility to prepare the linens and the silver to look their absolute best, washing, ironing, folding, buffing the silver, changing the hangings to the appropriate colour and ordering the flowers for memorials and special occasions. We also pull together when it is time to decorate for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. The guild meets as a group five times a year.
