The Greeters Ministry at St. Paul’s is a loosely structured group of dedicated parishioners who present a welcoming face and voice to our regular attendees and to our many visitors at every 10 am. service and at other special services throughout the church year.

Our group consists of teams of two or three persons, and these teams volunteer about once every eight or nine weeks. We do not have regular meetings and the schedule is prepared to accommodate the member’s busy lives. Our schedule is definitely flexible and the members change dates to suit their calendar.

It is always a pleasure to greet our parish family and it is especially rewarding to assist visitors and perhaps impart some local knowledge about the history of St. Paul’s. The greeters collect the offering and then usher the congregation during communion. After the service we straighten the pew books and collect the remaining bulletins for recycling.

The commitment to this group is not ominous and it can be a very rewarding experience. Anyone wishing to become a greeter can leave their contact info with the office at 250-372-3912.and it will be forwarded to the coordinator.
