The Readers Group is a dedicated group of approximately 26 members of our 10 am. congregation who take turns in groups of two to read the lessons each Sunday. Readers are assigned in advance on a rotating basis about once every three months, and the group is always flexible enough to allow for changes for personal reasons or illness.

In each group of two one reads the Old Testament reading followed by the Psalm, and the other reads the New Testament selection.

The group generally finds the preparation for presenting the lessons to be personally rewarding and gives some ‘insight’ and background into the message delivered through the sermon for that day. We encourage each other to practice the lesson presentation at home prior to the Sunday we are to read.
