Marriage

If you are interested in having your wedding at the Cathedral, you start by arranging an initial conversation with the Dean.

There are some criteria for being married at the Cathedral:

  • one member of the couple need to be baptised (it doesn’t matter what faith they were baptised into)
  • the couple need to complete a marriage preparation course
  • the service will be an Anglican service presided over by Anglican clergy

Baptism

The church community welcomes all baptismal candidates in a joyful ceremony.

Baptism is a sacred act; a special ceremony with family and friends that marks the beginning of a new life as a member of God’s family. It requires preparation and commitment from the candidate, parents of young candidates, sponsors (godparents) and the church community.

Funerals

If someone you know has died and you would like the funeral to take place at the Cathedral please contact the office at 250-372-3912.

You do not have to be a member to have your funeral or that of a loved one carried out here.
