St. Paul’s Cathedral welcomes all to our services of worship. We offer three in person worship services each week.
8 am Holy Communion Service
This is a quiet and reflective service which uses the old language of the Book of Common Prayer (thee and thou, for example). It takes place in our Cathedral Chapel and lasts about 45 minutes.
10 am Holy Eucharist Service
This service is filled with music and ritual. The language at this service is modern and the age range varies from the very young to our wise elders and everyone in-between. Sunday School takes place during this service. This service is available for viewing live or following the service on Facebook.
10 am Holy Communion Service
This service uses the old language of the Book of Common Prayer (thee and thou, for example). It often features a discussion of the Bible readings rather than a sermon. It takes place in our Cathedral Chapel and lasts about 45 minutes.
Communion is offered at every service. Everyone is welcome to receive the bread and wine. The priest will invite people to come forward to the front of the church to receive it. You may stand or kneel, which ever you prefer. If you wish to receive bread and/or wine put your hands out to receive it. If you would prefer to receive a blessing, put you hands at your sides. Gluten-free bread is available on request. If you would like to receive communion, but have mobility issues, please let the greeter know and it will be given at your seat.
