Seven hardy families including seven children and six members of the Youth group plus parents and volunteers braved the elements to attend Friday Family Food and Fun. We had a delicious dinner followed by an impromptu session of paper airplane making and launching and a game of “snowball” relay – like an egg on spoon race, but with cotton balls instead of eggs.

Then the younger children heard a story about snowmen and made a village of snowman stick puppets.

Meanwhile, the youth group members worked on some bracelets with beads that were donated by the Turtle Valley Donkey Refuge.

While most of the younger children left early, one remained to make a beaded snowflake.

Thanks to all the volunteers who make this happen every month!
Watch here for details about the next Friday Family Food and Fun which will take place February 16th.
