Chapel Services at Sun Peaks

Enjoy a service among the flowers!
During July and August, the Sun Peaks Ministry Volunteers (and Dean Kyle!) will be leading prayer services at the chapel several times at 1:00 pm on the 14th & 28th of July, and 11th & 25th of August. ‘Inspired by the mountain, Rev. Louise Peters (past Dean of St. Paul’s Cathedral in Kamloops) wrote the service specifically for the Sun Peaks Chapel which supports reflection on the beauty of the mountain. A twenty-minute service that celebrates nature includes readings, a homily, and prayer.’Following the service you can hike on a variety of trails (varying lengths and skill levels) or simply enjoy the scenery. Bring a picnic lunch or dine at the Sunburst Restaurant or one of the many restaurants in the village.
The chapel is located a short walk from the top of the Sunburst chairlift, behind the Sunburst Restaurant. To attend the chapel service, purchase a lift ticket either online in advance or at guest services on the mountain. Ride the lift and enjoy the views.

Please note: The mountain can be significantly cooler than Kamloops so you may want to
bring a jacket. Don’t forget to bring your hat, sunscreen and insect repellant. We hope you will join us!
