Four families came for the first gathering of the season. Following a delicious dinner of pasta, veggies and ice cream, the children’s activities started with a game of trying to toss “eye-balls” (pingpong balls) into some bowls. It proved to be very difficult, but lots of fun for all ages with balls bouncing everywhere.

A second game involved trying to bite an apple suspended on a string without using hands.

We sang along to a Hallowe’en story to the tune of the Ants Go Marching with piano accompaniment. Our final activity was making Hallowe’en decorations from toilet paper rolls.

Thanks to our great kitchen crew – Marian DiGeso, Nancy Baker (not pictured), Tammy Davis and Rae Long
