St. Paul’s Cookie Challenge took place December 8th with 33 different cookies entered. From family favorites to new recipes, the members of the congregation baked 1,500 cookies to raise funds for the Big Bear Child and Youth Advocacy Centre. The congregation was invited to sample the cookies (for a small donation) and vote for the Best Cookie and to try to guess which cookies was baked by Dean Kyle and Bishop Clara. It made for a fun coffee time after the 10 am service.

On December 15th, Alicia announced that over a thousand dollars was raised for the Big Bear Child and Youth Advocacy Centre. And the winner of the best cookie was Nathaniel representing his Logan Lake Secondary School Cooking Class. Congratulations. Special thanks to Alicia for organizing this fun and tasty fund raising event.

This cookie challenge was such an amazing and fun event and Big Bear CYAC was so honoured and thankful to be the recipient of this fundraiser. Sincerely thank you!
