Maundy Thursday: This moving service centers around the celebration of the Last Supper. We re-enact Jesus washing the Disciples feet, we hear about his last meal of bread and wine, and we journey to Gethsemane where we hear about his betrayal. The service ends in silence as we are left in quiet contemplation. Our Maundy Thursday Service takes place at Thursday April 17th at 7:00pm in the main sanctuary.
Good Friday: This service is one of meditation on the Cross of Jesus. It is a service of prayer and song. Contemplative in nature, the service invites the participant to think about their personal response to Jesus’ death. People are invited to receive prayer, light a candle, or take a prayer-shawl. Our Good Friday Service takes place April 18, at 10:00am in the main sanctuary.
Easter Sunday: Easter Morning services occur at 8:00am (in the Chapel), and 10:00am (in the main sanctuary). This service is one of joy and celebration. The service begins with shouts of Alleluia, as we receive the news that Jesus is alive. The 10 am Family Worship Service includes a fun activity for all children, and this year we will be celebrating a baptism.
All are welcome!
