Snowflakes and more at Friday Family Food and Fun

It was a busy evening for the February family dinner. We welcomed 10 families including 3 new families to get to know each other and share a meal.

Both the children and adults enjoyed making marshmallow snowflakes. Not many of them were taken home – most of the creations were eaten!

A fun relay race was run. The children dressed up in adult size winter clothing before running the race. There were no winners, but they all had fun.

After a game of Frozen Tag and the Winter Pokey to wear off some energy, the children settle for a brief story about 2 dogs who wanted to have coats. This led to our final craft of the evening. The children colored dogs and cat cut outs and then wound wool around them to create coats. Check out some samples on the bulletin board in the hall.
