Reverend Kyle Norman

Rector of St. Paul’s Cathedral and Dean of the Territory of the People effective October 2022

Reverend Kyle has strong roots in BC, having spent much of his life on Vancouver Island. It was on Vancouver island that Kyle began his ministry, and met his wife Alicia. Their son, Solomon, was born on Vancouver Island, prior to the family moving to Calgary, where they have spent the last 13 years.

Kyle brings an ease and approachability to his ministry. He loves to connect with people and build lasting and encouraging relationships. As a previous Children’s magician, his ministry also involves a good dose of humour and fun – you may just  find an occasional magic trick pop up from time to time. 

Kyle’s ministry passion lies in cultivate strong and healthy congregations. He has a Doctorate in Spiritual Formation with an emphasis on Christian community. He is an avid writer whose writings have appeared at Christianity.com, RenovareCanada.ca; and The Center for Biblical Equality, among others. You can find his personal blog at www.revkylenorman.ca.
