Every year the Cathedral offers to run the P.I.T Stop program for the United Church the first Sunday in December.
The Purpose of the P.I.T. Stop is to provide a hot, served meal to our guests. Our guests are marginalized or street entrenched community members including seniors, youths, families and adults. We strive to reduce the impacts of poverty by providing food and support in a caring and safe environment.
On the Sunday we hosted we had 185 people through the doors, which is a record for us. We want to extend thanks to our fun and hardworking volunteers and especially to Kathy Moore for being in charge and working so hard. Good times were had by all!
