Welcome to the family!

Harper and Benjamin were welcomed into the St Paul’s community in a Baptism ceremony on 27 October 2019. The lively service was augmented with special music, the giving of special gifts to the newly baptized and wonderful support from both the congregations and visiting family members and friends.

Family and friends joined together following the ceremony and enjoyed a celebratory cake as the celebration continued.

Baptism is the beginning of a wonderful, inviting and often surprising faith journey, where the world of the “here and now” intersects with God’s divine love and possibilities. On the one hand we speak words which are themselves symbols of something greater, love offered and received, in action through the mystery we call God, specially revealed in Jesus. Such a great time together.
