Dear Children and Youth,

I miss gathering with you all each week and pray for you by name each day. I hope that you are making wonderful memories with your family and enjoying many “close to home” adventures together. Palm Sunday is this weekend – I am remembering our time together last year creating palm branches:

While we will not gather face-to-face this weekend to celebrate Palm Sunday together here are three ideas for how you might make a palm branch at home:

Or use what you have at home and make something like this:

A Prayer for Palm Sunday:

Loving God,
We praise you in a special way today as we celebrate Palm Sunday. Be with us as we begin our journey through Holy Week,
that we may more closely align our lives with yours,
knowing suffering and death,
yet remaining hopeful in the life you promise.
We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Have a great weekend together – let me know if you create any palm branches!
