Folks we are ready to welcome you back to church in person!
The Cathedral will be open Sunday June 20 for an in-person, 8:00am service of Ante-Communion (all parts of the Book of Common Prayer Communion Service except the Eucharistic Prayer and sharing of communion.
To ensure everyone’s safety, here are the protocols we are required to put in place:
A maximum of 50 people (including staff and clergy) are allowed to be in the church at one time. To manage this we have set up a ticketing process through Eventbrite. There is no cost for the tickets it is just our way of keeping track the numbers and who will be attending. Should you be unable to access Eventbrite we encourage you to contact Claire at the church office.
We ask that you try to arrive prior to 7:50am. Please enter through the REAR DOOR OF THE CATHEDRAL. The chapel is NOT AVAILABLE at this time. Volunteers will explain which seats are available, ensuring appropriate social distancing.
If you do not book a space and decide last minute to come, you will be asked to wait outside until a few minutes before the service start time. Remaining unclaimed seats will be offered on a first come first served basis.
We are unable to offer Communion at this time.
We very much appreciate your support of our ministry through the collection plate which will not be passed but stationed near the side door exit.
Everyone in the church will be a minimum of 2 metres apart (except those from the same households). The greeters will manage the queue to enter the church and will monitor for proper social distancing.
People are strongly encouraged to wear masks. Please remember to bring yours. A limited number of masks will also be available.
The church will be completely sanitized prior to the service and afterwards.
Hand sanitizer will be available as you enter and exit the building.
People will leave the church promptly after the service via the SIDE DOOR. If you visit with others outside please continue to practice social distancing.
The washroom is available for emergencies only. Please follow the posted instructions for cleaning after use.
Please take your seat as soon as you enter the church, and stay in your seat until the service is over. For everyone’s safety and to ensure appropriate social distancing, walking around the church is not permitted (unless there is an emergency).
We look forward to seeing those who are able to come together in this way.
Please contact the office for the link to the tickets
Thank you for the update. Why are you having the in person service at 8:00 am and not 10:00 am? The service could still be video taped for YouTube viewing and those watching could see people in the pews (or not). We would be more inclined to go to a 10:00 am service if it was available. Thank you. Jim Williams

We are starting with an in person 8am with no communion and keeping the live stream at 10am so we can enjoy the music and signing.
We hope that we can open for 10am soon – and continue to live stream as well.
Stay tuned – it shouldn’t be long
