we thank you that you have made us in your own image
and have given us gifts in mind, body and spirit. 
We thank you now for Queen Elizabeth for her life and witness
and what she meant to each of us.
We give thanks for her steadfast faith in Jesus 
which sustained her throughout her earthly life.
We pray for her children, her grandchildren, 
and her great grandchildren.
We pray for their comfort and peace in this time of their mourning.
As we honour her memory,
make us more aware that you are the one
from whom comes every perfect gift,
including the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
