by It was a beautiful sunny crisp day for the first Sun Peaks Chapel Service of the season. The service is held every Sunday at 1 pm December through the end of April. The prayer service is lead by a small team of volunteers. The number of people who attend vary. Some are local people who attend regularly, others are visitors who will likely only attend once. It is an opportunity for volunteers and attendees to join in prayer on the mountain amidst God’s splendor. The chapel service could not happen without the support of St. Paul’s Cathedral, Sun Peaks Lodge, who manage the chapel and Sun Peaks Resort, who provide lift tickets for the volunteers.
The heavens declare your glory; the mountains shout your praise, the arch of sky displays your handiwork. The Mountains and the Heavens declare the glory of God!
