by On March 22, 2023 St. Paul’s hosted an appreciation luncheon recognizing the work of those who care for church altars in the Kamloops area. The Altar Guild Members are dedicated to their job and the St. Paul’s Altar Guild wanted to ensure that they know that they are appreciated.
The invitation went out to area churches and the luncheon was attended by members of St. George’s Anglican Church and Hills of Peace Lutheran Church as well as St. Paul’s Altar Guild.
The celebration had a Pirate Theme and included costumes and games like Walk the Tightrope and Catch a Fish. Fun was had by all!
Plans are underway to make this an annual event. In future it will be held in February to avoid conflicts with Spring Break. It is hoped that even more Altar Guilds will join in the fun.
