Happy Baptism – July 12th

With family and friends in attendance, Aldora and Amanda were baptised on July 12. The girls watched and listened as they were presented to the congregation, thanksgiving over the water was given as the water was poured into the font. The baptismal covenant was recited followed by the baptism with water and the sign of the cross. Aldora and Amanda each received a lighted candle symbolizing passing from darkness into light.

Following the service, the congregation celebrated with Aldora and Amanda and their family in the church hall with cake and refreshments.
