Launch of the Alongside Hope Wild Ride

This past Sunday July 19th, following the 10 am service, Dean Kyle blessed bikes, scooters, shoes, walkers and wheelchairs to launch the Territory Wild Ride for Alongside Hope.

The Alongside Hope Wild Ride is raising money to bring clean, reliable solar power to St. Luke’s Hospital in Nablus, West Bank. The hospital serves a population of 455,000 people and urgently needs stable electricity. Alongside Hope is installing solar panels, and the Wild Ride aims to fund 70 of them. One panel cost $865 (which includes installation, maintenance and other
costs.)

The participants of Team ”Territory of the People” will be cycling, walking and hosting other activities from now until the end of September to raise money.
