by Sarah Wildeman was our special guest presenter for the Season of Creation on September 22, 2019 at the 10 am service. Sarah works as an adult educator and coach with A Rocha, an international Christian organization which, inspired by God’s love, engages in scientific research, environmental education, community-based conservation projects and sustainable agriculture. A Rocha’s work seeks the transformation of people and places by showing God’s love for all creation.
Sarah’s message centered around the theme of food and faith. She also provide practical examples of what earthkeeping looks like. Following the service, Sarah facilitated a brief session to help participants identify some of their current beliefs and postures relating to environmental issues and to try on new perspectives.
